Abstract

This paper proposes a new ℋ FIR filter with missing measurements for linear systems with disturbance. The measurements are transmitted from the plant to the filter imperfectly due to random packet loss or fault of sensors. The Bernoulli random process is used to describe the measurements missing phenomena. The proposed FIR filter is in the form of linear matrix inequalities (LMIs) and the gain matrix can be obtained by solving a convex optimization problem. A simulation example is given to illustrate the effectiveness of the proposed ℋ FIR filter compared to the conventional ℋ FIR filter.
