    Abstract

A Brillouin optical correlation domain analysis (BOCDA) system using the time-domain data processing combined with the differential measurement scheme is proposed, where the measurement range could be effectively enlarged to 10 km while maintaining the high spatial resolution of less than 5 cm by simultaneously interrogating multiple correlation peaks.
