Abstract
A high-impedance meander line resonator that reduces filter size by 30 percent as compared to an existing design was demonstrated. A duplex using this filter was designed, fabricated and analyzed using the FDTD method and EM simulator IE3D. The simulation results show good agreement with the experimental results, satisfying specifications for an IMTS-2000 handset.
