Abstract
The paper reports results of the operation of a digital flux injector coupled to a 317-MHz NMR magnet operating at 4.2 K in persistent mode. The experiments have demonstrated that it is possible to periodically inject metered quantities of flux into a persistent-mode superconducting magnet to either compensate for a small field decay or to shift the operating frequency upward or downward without having to switch on the main power supply.
