    Abstract

To support fault-tolerance in distributed computing system, several recovery algorithms using multi-agent have been proposed. However, most of them didn't support fault-tolerance of the multi-agent. Agent failures may lead to inconsistent states of distributed computing system and domino effect. In this paper, we propose a recovery algorithm for fault-tolerance of multi-agent. We classify agent failures and present cases that agent failures occur. Our proposed algorithms are verified through simulations based on JAVA and CORBA.
