N2 - This paper proposed two light-trail configurations that can be deployed seamlessly in current networks with light-trail extension module. We also proposed a light-trail medium access protocol to efficiently support highly dynamic traffic patterns while maintain the fair access. The effectiveness of our proposal is demonstrated through mathematical analysis and simulation.
