Abstract

The aim of this study is to evaluate the reduction efficiency for PM10 and PM2.5 by applying the air cleaner in some educational facilities. The facilities of this study were 2 elementary schools and 1 child care center and the sampling time was 8hrs, from 9 to 17, known as student's main activity time. The difference of PM10 and PM2.5 concentration was significant in all three facilities and was confirmed that air cleaner is effective in removing fine dust in the classroom. However, there is a problem in the representativeness and reliability. So, the additional intensive evaluation is required.
