N2 - In this paper, we introduce a new zero-forcing beamforming (ZFBF) transmission scheme for multi-user MIMO Gaussian channel with finite rate feedback. With this transmission scheme, the base station adaptively utilizes transmit antennas according to the channel status and the number of active users to control the multiuser interference. We show through selected numerical results that our proposed scheme can achieve remarkable sum-rate improvement compared to other schemes with fixed transmit antennas.
