Abstract

This paper proposes a new adaptive Hinfi synchronization method for time-delayed chaotic systems with unknown parameters. Based on Lyapunov-Krasovskii stability theory and linear matrix inequality (LMI) approach, a sufficient condition is derived to ensure that the proposed controller reduces the effect of external disturbance to an Hinfi norm constraint. Moreover, this synchronization controller guarantees the adaptive synchronization of time-delayed chaotic systems when the external disturbance disappears. Finally, a numerical example with its computer simulations is provided to illustrate and verify the effectiveness of the proposed synchronization scheme.
