Abstract
Aerodynamic analysis and design of an aero-levitation electric vehicle (AEV) is done using a lifting surface method. The ground effect is included by the image method. The wing thickness is numerically implemented based on the tear-drop theory. The conceptual design of an AEV is done using the numerical results and the normal design procedure. The performance of the designed AEV is compared to that of anther WIG vehicle, WISES. The feature of the proposed AEV are addressed.
