    Abstract

Thermally stimulated current (TSC) measurements were carried out to study the accumulation of space charge in polymer blends and to determine how such a space charge might migrate under combined thermal/voltage aging. In addition, the sample surfaces were examined by electron microscopy and by X-ray photoelectron spectroscopy. The results of the thermally stimulated current measurements, which varied with poling time, poling temperature, poling field, and the metal species used to make contact with the polymer, are presented.
