N2 - Among traffic engineering schemes recently under study, TEAM (TE using an Adaptive Multi-path-forwarding scheme) scheme is one of traffic engineering schemes that aim to improve network performance by properly distributing traffic against dynamic traffic pattern occurring in a short time scale. This method measures states of paths by using probe packet in the ingress node of the network, and computes costs of path with measured values. Costs of path consider all weights given in paths, including packets delay and loss rate, number of hop, and number of LSPs. This method enables to adapt to state of network without a sudden change by tracing neighboring solutions from a given solution. It is expected, therefore, that network performance is improved when the total costs of paths of the whole network are minimized. Also, implementation technique of TEAM scheme is presented and some simulations are provided to illustrate the efficacy of TEAM scheme.
