Abstract

Even though composite box-girders with corrugated steel webs are widely used in civil engineering practice, the torsional behavior of composite box-girders with corrugated steel webs is not fully understood yet. In this study, the torsioanl analysis program is developed for the composite box-girder with corrugated steel webs considering the effect of concrete tensile strength and tension stiffening. Then, the developed program is successfully verified by comparing results of experiment. From the results, it is found that the developed program shows good accuracy for the torque-rate of twist relationship by considering the effect of tension behavior of the concrete.
