Abstract

We show that the maximal operator Mf(cursive Greek chi) = supj∈ℤ | (latin small letter esh)ℝd f(cursive Greek chi - 2jy) dμ(y)| maps H1 into L1,∞ under certain assumptions on the decay of μ̂ and the geometry of supp(μ).
