Abstract

An analysis on giant magnetoresistive characteristics of synthetic antiferromagnet-based spin-valves with modified pinned layers was presented. Parametric sensitivity on the giant magnetoresistive (GMR) transfer behaviors was determined using series of calculations based on the Landau-Lifschitz-gilbert equation incorporating a single-domain multilayer model. The results were found similar with MR transfer behaviors in conventional synthetic spin valves.
