Abstract

The effect of chain-end functionality on the shear response of confined telechelic chains was studied using Monte Carlo simulation. It was found that the shear response of the associated structure is significantly changed when the functionality is larger than 1. For f>1, the molecular weight distribution of the associating structures was relatively monodisperse.
