    Abstract

Nowadays, online social networking services are very popular. In this paper, we conduct a comparative study of two push schemes in online social networking services: timer-based push scheme (TPS) and push N scheme (PNS). Simulation results demonstrate that TPS has comparable performance to PNS and TPS is more friendly to implementations.
