    Abstract

Following the recent development of unmanned vehicle technology, various applications of multiple unmanned vehicles have emerged, including for patrol, rescue, logistics, and drone show performance. This paper presents trends in cooperative localization techniques for multiple unmanned vehicles. First, we introduce cooperative localization systems for each type of unmanned vehicle from a hardware perspective. Next, we describe the concept of cooperative localization based on state estimation, and then present recent research trends in cooperative localization algorithms, which are divided into five topics.
