Abstract

A coplanar waveguide (CPW) fed log-periodic dumb-bell slot antenna array is presented. Due to the log-periodic structure and dumb-bell slot, the proposed antenna operates as a frequency independent antenna. The antenna is printed on a substrate with a single metal layer and therefore is easily constructed. The measured return loss and radiation patterns are also included.
