Abstract

For network automation empowered by advanced artificial intelligence (AI) and machine learning (ML) technologies, the third generation partnership project (3GPP) introduced a novel network function called network data analytics function (NWDAF), which collects network data and provides valuable analytics results. Based on the up-to-date NWDAF specification, we implement NWDAF including analytic logical function (AnLF) and model training logical function (MTLF). Our experimental study on analytics and ML model provisioning services demonstrates the feasibility of the NWDAF testbed.
