Abstract

A simple and effective dual channel speech enhancement algorithm is presented for robust speech recognition in automobile environments. The proposed algorithm incorporates a novelty filter scheme which functions as an associative memory, whose purpose is to improve the performance of the Generalized Sidelobe Canceller (GSC).
