Abstract

We report two-photon probes for Zn²⁺ ions that can simultaneously detect cytosolic and mitochondrial Zn²⁺ ions in live cells and living tissues at 115 mm depth by dual-color TPM imaging with minimum interference from other biologically relevant species.
