Abstract

This paper presents a dynamic stability estimation method for latch-type voltage sense amplifier (LV-S/A) which is widely used in several type of memory. In order to overcome the large computational burden of conventional Monte-carlo simulation, predetermined coordinate based mean-shift most probable failure point (PMS-MPFP) method is proposed. Compared to mean-shift MPFP (MS-MPFP) [2], proposed PMSMPFP needs approximately 2 less iteration number for 1E-10 bit error bound in wide range of simulation conditions.
