Funding Information:This Special Issue reflects the main topics of the works presented in the “2013 International Workshop on Molten Carbonates & Related Topics”, IWMC2013. It is the second one on the same thematic after IWMC2011 (Paris), which proves the constant interest for this scientific and applied field. This event was held in Gyeong Ju, South Korea on September 26 and 27, 2013 and was chaired by Prof. Michel Cassir (from Chimie ParisTech, France) and co-chaired by Dr. Suk Woo Nam (from KIST, South Korea). It was under the “umbrella” of the International Energy Agency IEA Annex 23 and sponsored by POSCOE Energy, the Korean Electrochemical Society, the Global Research Laboratory and the Chang Sung Corporation. It has gathered about 70 researchers, industrials and some Ph.D. students from all over the world (Korea, Japan, USA, France, Italy, Sweden, Malaysia, United Kingdom, Norway, Australia and Mexico).
