Abstract

The effect of chain architecture of block copolymer on the micellization was determined by using a mean-field theory and a Brownian dynamics simulation. From both of theory and simulation, it was concluded that the micelle formation is easier for ring block copolymer than for the triblock copolymer but more difficult than for the diblock copolymer.
