Abstract
Quantum Monte Carlo simulations were used to obtain the phase diagram of an Ising system on small-world networks in the presence of a transverse magnetic field. The ferromagnetic phase persisted at finite Δ, although the effect of quantum fluctuations introduced by the transverse field was manifested by the decrease of Tc.
