Abstract

This paper presents efficient discrete-time bandpass sigma-delta modulator for multistandard wireless applications. The proposed discrete-time bandpass sigma-delta modulator provides the higher speed by advanced switched-capacitor resonator which is about 50% faster than the latest reported ones, and it is also optimized to support multi-bandwidth for digital convergence applications. The proposed discrete-time bandpass sigma-delta modulator is implemented using a 0.18,μm CMOS technology, and has an effective chip area of 0.16mm 2.
