Enhanced mechanical strength and cytocompatibility by gelatin in electrospun poly(l-lactide-co-ε-caprolactone)/gelatin fibers

Abstract

PLCL was added by gelatin and electrospun to micro fibers. Fibers made of PLCL90/gelatin10 wt % exhibited an enhanced strength and cytocompatibility and therefore would be very beneficial for applying to tissue engineering scaffolds.
