Abstract

The following corrections are being made. The last sentence of the first paragraph of the Introduction should read as follows: “Consequently, a plethora of research on renewable electricity powered PtG systems has been conducted.” The end of the first sentence of the last paragraph of the Introduction should read as follows: “production on a scale that ensures competitive economics and maximizes surplus utilization.” In section 2.1, the following phrases should be used: “wind and solar parks in ROK”, “(demand and supply breakdown) in ROK”, and “and in this particular case of ROK”. The last sentence of section 2.1 should read as follows: “This in turn required careful consideration of a feasible (technologically reliable) PtG technology type (Supporting Information; Extended methods; section 2) and perhaps more importantly, the scale of the process.” In two places, an industrial collaboratorshould be identified as Elchemtech Co. Ltd. The third sentence of section 3.3 should read as follows: “With an annual estimated RES range of 41.6−87.14 TWh, we have determined that a hydrogen production of 57000−200000 tons/year is achievable utilizing RES.
