Abstract

In order to improve the heat transfer rate of heat exchanger, chiller tested in the present study was coated with FAPO. Water vapor adsorption amount was measured with varying coating thicknesses and binder ratios. As a result, the coating thickness of 0.2 mm showed smaller adsorption amount than that of 0.1 mm, however, the adsorption rate was twice larger. Coating layer with 10% binder showed better durability compared to that of 5% binder.
