Abstract
The Sr2CeO4 phosphor particles with fine size and regular morphology were prepared by large-scale spray pyrolysis from polymeric precursor solution. The Sr2CeO4 phosphor particles prepared from spray solution containing citric acid and ethylene glycol had higher photoluminescence intensities than that of the phosphor particles prepared from spray solution containing no polymeric precursor. The particles prepared from spray solution containing citric acid and ethylene glycol had good crystallinity and high photoluminescence intensity of Sr2CeO 4 phosphor even at low post-treatment temperature. The photoluminescence intensity of Sr2CeO4 phosphor particles prepared from spray solution with 0.5 M citric acid and 0.5 M ethylene glycol was 130% of that prepared from spray solution containing no polymeric precursor at post-treatment temperature of 1000 °C.
