Flexible and Shape-Controllable Micro-Convex Structure to Improve Light Extraction of OLEDs

Abstract

We report the improved outcoupling of organic light-emitting diodes (OLEDs) using flexible micro-convex-structured films fabricated by the breath figure method. The light extraction pattern was controlled by the particle size distribution according to the concentration of polystyrene with the solvent evaporation method. The OLEDs assembled with micro-convex-structure film presented an efficiency improvement of 36%.
