N2 - This paper presents a practical method for longterm voltage stability simulation based on a governor-response power flow. Governor-response power flow (GRPF) can be used to model the long-term system responses at instants several seconds after disturbances. In this paper, it is postulated that the GRPF model can capture the state before load restoration begins in contingent conditions for the system with sufficiently slow load restoration characteristic. This paper describes the simulation results applying the proposed simulation to the modified New England 39-bus system.
