Abstract

New anthracene-based X-shaped conjugated molecules 1 and 2 for use as highly soluble p-type organic semiconductors were developed and exhibited large field-effect mobilities of 0.04 cm2 V-1 s-1 (Ion/Ioff = 2.8 × 105) and 0.24 cm 2 V-1 s-1 (Ion/Ioff = 5.4 × 106) for devices of 1 and 2, respectively.
