    Abstract

In this paper, we propose a high precision digital image stabilization system using optical device. The proposed system consists of three parts; motion sensing with gyro-sensors, detection of large motion using sub-sampled images and refinement of stabilization with sub-pixel accuracy. Experimental results show that the proposed hybrid image stabilizer outperforms some conventional stabilization techniques.
