    Abstract

The point emitter was fabricated by a multi-walled carbon nanotube (MWCNT) fiber using a tip treatment by ethylene glycol. It showed the high emission current and good emission stability because the CNT fiber had a large aspect ratio and the tight binding of MWCNTs at the sharp tip.
