Abstract
This paper reports a novel application of centrifugal microfluidic delivery to a highly sensitive electromechanical biosensor integrated on a single chip. The microfluidic channel was designed for label-free immunoassay of a micro cantilever sensor, which has extremely low limit of detection of PSA (prostate specific antigen) up to pico-molar concentration by measuring the change of resonant frequency after antibody-antigen interaction. This integration can reduce sample consumption and the number of experiment processes since no external pumping system is necessary. We demonstrate here the application of simple electrical detection for the specific PSA as an example of automatically sequential fluid delivery.
