Abstract

The binding properties of four amido derivatives of p-tetraphenyl tetrahomodioxacalix[4]arene towards alkali and alkaline-earth metal cations using UV-absorption spectrophotometry, 1H NMR and ESI-mass spectrometry techniques are reported.
