Abstract

The interlayer diffusion and specularity aspects of amorphous CoNbZr (CNZ) based spin valves were discussed. The effects of CNZ film as under and capping layers on thermal stability and Mn diffusion behavior were investigated at elevated temperatures. It was found that specular scattering effect decreased with increasing the thickness of CNZ capping layer.
