    Abstract

Theoretical and experimental findings on submerged laminar and turbulent jets flowing along moving walls are presented. Two methods were developed for computing the flow of laminar jet, namely an approximate method of local self-similarity and an exact method for the numerical solution of the starting equations. The flow of turbulent jets is measured on a specially designed test unit.
