Abstract
Results of theoretical calculations and experimental investigations of submerged laminar and turbulent jets of an incompressible liquid spreading along a moving surface are presented. Cases of concurrent and conflicting motion of the jet and the surface are considered. Calculation of laminar jets is carried out by two methods: an approximate method of local self-modeling and exact method of numerical solution of initial equations of the boundary layer.
