Abstract
The Large Acceptance Multi-Purpose Spectrometer (LAMPS) is one of the high energy experimental systems at the Rare isotope Accelerator complex for ON-line experiments (RAON) in Korea. The LAMPS is located at the end of the In-fight Fragmentation (IF) system where it is going to use a variety of stable and rare isotope (RI) beams from the RAON for research in nuclear physics. In this paper, the scientific goals, detailed design, R&D results, and status of the LAMPS will be discussed.
