Abstract

We experienced a case of a 34-year-old male with intracranial tuberculomas mimicking brain tumor from multidrug-resistant tuberculosis (MDR-TB). He had been treated for pulmonary MDR-TB and subsequently complained of the headache and dizziness after starting antituberculosis chemotherapy. Brain computed tomography (CT) and magnetic resonance (MR) imaging showed large conglomerated tuberculomas mimicking brain tumors in the right frontal lobe. Then, the patient was continued on antituberculosis chemotherapy, which allowed the successful treatment of intracranial tuberculomas.
