Abstract

The two-dimensional steady interfacial waves between a compressible upper fluid and incompressible lower fluid are discussed. The density of upper layer decreased exponentially with height up to infinity with isothermal and compressible properties. A stationary forced modified KdV equation was derived by a unified asymptotic method.
