Abstract

In this work, we propose an effective path virtualization using fountain code that provides the data rate as high as possible with satisfying delay and block loss rate constraints to enhance video quality. Basically, fountain code and video codec H. 264 jointly work to efficiently use the path diversity over the existing wireless heterogeneous networks. Finally, the proposed system is implemented and tested in real environments.
