N2 - Cellular proliferation and migration are fundamental processes that contribute to the injury response in major blood vessels. The resultant pathologies are atherosclerosis and restenosis. As we begin to understand the cellular changes associated with vascular injury, it is critical to determine whether the inhibition of growth and movement of cells in the vasculature could serve as a novel therapeutic strategy to prevent atherosclerosis and restenosis.
