Funding Information:The International Conference on Neutron Scattering (ICNS) took place July 9 to 13, 2017 in Daejeon, Korea. This was the 11 th conference in the series, held every 4 years. A total of 758 scientists, engineers and aspiring students from 36 countries participated in this event, contributing to 682 oral and poster presentations featuring the most up-to-date scientific achievements and instrument development efforts from around the world. This conference was co-organized by the Korea Neutron Beam User Association (KNBUA) and the Korea Atomic Energy Research Institute (KAERI), and supported by several agencies, including the Korea Tourism Organization, Daejeon Metropolitan City, and Daejeon International Marketing Enterprise.
