    Abstract

We introduced TiO2 hollow spheres as the additives of electrolytes in order to construct effective ionic diffusion paths and maximize light harvest. TiO2 hollow spheres with a size of submicrometer were prepared and characterized. The DSSCs were fabricated with the electrolytes containing the spheres and their performance was measured. The optimal composition of electrolyte for the best cell performance was also confirmed.
