    Abstract

To investigate the water permeation between graphene and SiO2, CVD-grown and exfoliated graphene samples are used, and 3× strongly-bonded samples are prepared for comparison. It is found that the strongly-bonded graphene can be used to significantly reduce water permeation and improve device durability.
