    Abstract

Erysiphe thesii is a powdery mildew known on various species of Thesium in Europe. Nevertheless, sequence data are not yet available for this species. The description of the anamorph is supplemented. The Korean materials, which represent both anamo- rphic and teleomorphic states of the fungus, allow us to fill the gap in knowledge for this species. This fungus is further described, illustrated and discussed in this study. Results of molecular-phylogenetic analyses are provided based on Korean materials.
